The Shibusawa Scholar Program seeks to cultivate individuals who embody the paradigm of “Global Captains of Industry”.
Eiichi Shibusawa wanted students to engage in practical activities informed by profound scholarly insight.
This course is offered to first year Faculty of Commerce and Management students to improve their English communicative abilities.
We undertake a holistic evaluation of candidates’ capacity to select students with potential to become a global business leader.
Following a rigorous selection process, 15 students have been selected as the first cohort of the Shibusawa Scholar Program.
Many academic professionals in the Hitotsubashi Faculty of Commerce and Management contribute to the Shibusawa Scholar Program.
The Advisory committee is made up of key figures who provide multi-faceted and impartial advice and opinions on the program.
